Apple Pay

Taking Payments via Apple Pay on the Web

If your taking Payments via Stripe you're now also taking payment via Apple Pay. When paying via Apple Pay the customer only needs to supply the amount they wish to pay towards their booking and click ‘Pay with Apple Pay’, thats it, done. Billing details are automatically brought in from the users device meaning they don’t need to fill in these details. This will cost our owners no extra seeing as payments are still charged at Stripes super low rate of 1.3% +20p. This gives a great impression to guests as not only does it completely simplify and speed up the payment process, it also fills them with confidence paying with a recognised and trusted service and they do not need to part with their card details.

Customers using Safari 10 on macOS Sierra or using an iOS device that supports Apple Pay running iOS

10 will see the ‘Apple Pay’ option when paying towards their booking and security deposit. Property owners will see these transactions just like any other within the financials section of a booking.

When a customer pays their deposit, their security deposit or towards their balance they'll have the option of paying via Apple Pay. Apple Pay becomes the default payment option but the customer has the option to enter card details manually should they wish to use a different card.
