Adding a Housekeeper

Within StayTech you have the ability to assign housekeepers to your properties. Housekeepers will be able to see upcoming bookings within their portal accessing information about the booking that applies to them. They will be able to see the lead bookers information, room configurations, any notes that have been added, pets assigned, chargeable extras booked and how many guests are arriving.
Adding a Housekeeper
To add a housekeeper navigate to Site Settings - House Keepers as displayed below:
Once selected you will see an 'Add Housekeeper' button click this to add a new housekeeper to your site, fill in the housekeepers details. If you want the housekeeper to see detailed information about the booking such as contact information, enable the check labelled 'Display Detailed Booking Information to House Keeper' once finished click 'Create Housekeeper'.
Assigning a Housekeeper to your Property
Now that you have added your housekeeper you will need to assign them to your property if you want them to be the default housekeeper meaning any bookings made at that property will be assigned to the housekeeper assigned - you can override this on a per booking level.
Navigate to the Property within the properties section and click Edit. Within here you will see a configuration tab as displayed below:
Once selected you will see a 'Housekeeper' section, select the drop down menu and assign your housekeeper - click 'Update Property' to save your changes. Now all bookings made will be assigned to the default housekeeper.
Overriding Housekeeper on a per booking level
To override the default housekeeper you can update the booking itself. Navigate to the booking you wish to assign to a different housekeeper and click the 'View Configuration' button as displayed below:
Once selected you will see a Housekeeper section - select the housekeeper you wish to assign to this booking and click 'Update Configuration' the housekeeper will now be able to view this booking within their portal depending on how far in to the future they can view bookings - you would have assigned this figure when creating the housekeeper.
Resetting your Housekeepers Password
If your housekeeper for any reason has forgotten their password you can reset their password within your admin. Navigate to Housekeepers within Site Settings - if you're unsure how you get there please see instructions above.
Click Edit next to the housekeeper you're resetting the password for. Once selected you will be able to see a 'Reset Password' button - once you have clicked this an email will be sent to the assigned email address.
